  BIG 19:"一帶一路”商務論壇將于2017年9月20日,18時至21時于曼谷君悅Grand Hyatt Earwan酒店舉行。
  論壇主題將于中國消費群體為出發點,邀請四位分別來自旅行商務、製造業、傳媒和醫療等領域的專業人士,以多面角度分享中泰商務交流的經驗。此外,還將討論“一帶一路”倡議對泰國乃至整個東盟地區的深遠影響及發展趨勢。
  中國,不僅依靠其龐大的製造能力成為當今世界第二大經濟體及每年相當於9萬億美元的經濟總量,而1.38億人口總數也讓其消費指數超越美國成為世界第一消費大國。而中國遊客已成為泰國旅遊業最主要的消費群體,隨著交流的愈發緊密,中國商業的影響已經將不僅限於每年可觀的旅遊人數和購買力。商業投資更是深入到其他各個領域,包括金融、航空、船運、製造業、農業、加工業、能源、房地產乃至教育行業。如今,中方倡議的“一帶一路”將于“泰國4.0”戰略完美融合,并使中泰未來商貿合作更加緊密。

Introducing our first panelist.

Anuwat Damri is the Senior Marketing and Public Relations Manager for TCC Land Company Limited, one of the leading property developers in Thailand. With over 10 years of experience as a real estate developer in commercial and residential properties, Anuwat has extensive knowledge working with various nationalities, while focusing on the Chinese consumer market.

Anuwat graduated from Chiang Mai University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics, and he also maintains an MBA in Marketing from the National Institute of Development Administration. Anuwat has previously worked on various projects for Marriott Resort & Spa, Central Pattana and Asiatique, which has a high influence of Chinese tourists in Thailand.

Introducing our second panelist to #BIG19.
Chen Xiaodan is the Deputy Director of Thai-Chinese International TV (TCITV), a television channel based in Thailand that is broadcast in bilingual version (Mandarin Chinese - Thai). TCITV has a vision to become a linkage between Thailand and China in term of international business and culture exchange. Thus, it has been sponsored by both the governments and private sectors of Thailand and China.
Chen graduated from Burapha University in Thailand. Later pursue another degree at Bangkok University International College.

Introducing our third panelist.

Khun Supakorn Phawanna is the Marketing Director at Phyathai 3 Hospital, one of the major hospitals in Bangkok, Thailand. Phyathai 3 Hospital mainly serves patients from the Thonburi District of the city, providing medical healthcare, fertility treatment, and mother and baby supports.

Supakorn has more than 22 years experience in Marketing & Sales, Customer Service, Digital Marketing, Retail Management, and Project Management within 4 industries: HealthCare (Phyathai), Telecom (AIS), Automotive (Mazda), and Engineering (Cement Thai & Epsilon).

Specifically, on his current position, Supakorn has been played an important role in executing both business plan and marketing strategy for Phyathai 3 Hospital and successfully achieved 10% growth in revenue year over year with 30% growth of profit.
Academically speaking, Supakorn graduated from Khon Kaen University with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Later pursued Master of Engineering at Asian Institute of Technology, and another Master’s degree at Thammasat University in Business Administration (MBA) with a marketing major.

As the second largest global economy, China maintains a population of 1.38 billion people with $9 trillion GDP that is expected to double in growth within the next few years. With an expanding and increasingly affluent middle class, China has emerged as a market which is impossible to ignore for any business looking to establish a true global footprint.

This increase in economic reach has affected neighbouring countries, including Thailand through tourism and economic investment. In 2017, China has become Thailand's number 1 provider of tourism revenue, and has spurred a number of local initiatives aiming to capture the Chinese tourism yuan. Additionally, Chinese investment in Thailand is expected to increase within the coming years in areas such as real estate, resorts, and a recently announced railroad link that will form a key part of the "One Belt One Road". This project was launched to provide increased connectivity between ASEAN and Europe, aligning with the Thailand 4.0 and the Eastern Economic Corridor strategic initiatives.

The linkages and impacts between the two countries are clear. With it’s purchasing power and reach, China's economic impact will bring forth significant change to Thailand, and provide opportunities for local based business to capitalise on.

Our special panel at #BIG 19 will discuss the "One Belt One Road" initiative, and share their expertise on how to market to Chinese customers in the latter part of 2017 and beyond. In particular, the panel discussion will cover the following topics:

How can Thailand and ASEAN based businesses understand Chinese purchasing trends
How to market products effectively to Chinese consumers
What the initiative would mean for the local economy in the near term

Apart from participating in the actual panel discussion itself, you will have the opportunity to meet with the speakers individually and build professional connections with the others in attendance.
